From Mesopotamia to Egypt, from the Middle-East to Greece, the palm tree is one that has given rise to an abundant iconography. Fashioned in satin-finished and re-polished crystal, signature of Lalique, the pleated leaves are overlaid on the body of the vase in a graphic play on repetition, studded with finely chiselled water beads.
